LMPOA Deer Control Program
The LMPOA Board at the September 2024 Board meeting approved the Lake Mohawk Deer Control Program.
All hunters must qualify in order to participate in the LMPOA Deer Control Program. There will be two (2) sessions for qualifying here at the Lake. The sessions are scheduled for: Tuesday, October 8 th from 5:30 to 6:30pm and Sunday, October 12 th from 3:00 to 4:00pm. The Deer Control Committee members will conduct the (2) two qualifying events. They will take place behind the Maintenance garage near the salt bins. The Hunter must qualify using the ODNR Archery Proficiency Target at 10 yards. Once qualified, a LMPOA Deer Control Application can be submitted for approval. A member can also qualify at Fin, Feather & Fur under the same format and provide a completed qualifying document from that facility.
